I have felt empathy for Michael for years as I grew up &quot;with&quot; him and so wanted to see the youngster we all knew grow into a man we all wanted to see.  I read a blog post by Karen Swim (from her Words For Hire blog) discussing Michael and &quot;Personal Branding&quot; and comparing it to dating your audience.  She asked the question &quot;Will you casually date or embark on a fiery love affair?&quot;  The only problem is, I don&#039;t think Michael had a choice; to start, I am sure he didn&#039;t.  I wonder if when he was old enough to make one, it wasn&#039;t already to late to change his mind.  My sentiments are the same as his brother, Marlon; hopefully now, finally, he is at peace.</description>
